March 2018: Making Miniatures
As one half of this project is essentially a museum down-scaled, I decided to design it exclusively around Cosgrove Hall's 'The Wind in the Willows', thus making it possible to be up-scaled at a later date and turned into an actual museum, even if it's in the form of a book. My entire collection was scanned/photographed to the scale of 1:6, which matches that of the puppet (Action Man/Barbie scale) and so he can also interact with some of them in the animation.
The full gallery of printed sheets, prior to cutting, are seen here. I have also included a montage video of stills showing the making of the miniatures, and another showing the final collection, as well as some final photographs of the entire collection.
