VIDEO REVIEW - Toad, Astronomer (Series 3, Episode 4)
April 21, 2019
The tenth of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too! This one is for Episode 4 from Series 3, 'Toad, Astronomer'. We're just over half-way through Spring here in the UK in 2019 (and it is very warm), and so this one, again, feels very apt for the time of year. As a special treat, the entire script to this episode can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences. Note that it was originally titled 'Starstruck Toad', and the occasional piece of deleted dialogue, and that it was originally written for Series 2. Reviews of the series continues on Sunday 28th April 2019 with 'The Tournament' (Episode 4 from Series 4).
All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) will be reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
