VIDEO REVIEW - Paperchase (Series 3, Episode 1)
The fifteenth of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too! This one is for Episode 1 from Series 3, 'Paperchase'. We are almost at the end of Spring 2019, and 'Race for Life' is happening throughout the UK, and the weather is becoming yet warmer. And so this one, again, feels very apt for the time of year! As a special treat, the entire script to this episode can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences. Note that there is, again, quite a bit of deleted dialogue in this one.
This is another classic episode, featured on the first two releases of the 'Spring Follies' video (before being replaced with 'The Lost River'). Reviews of the series continues on Sunday 26th May 2019 with 'Lord Toad' (Episode 5 from Series 4), which will bring the collection of Spring episodes to a close.
All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) are being reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
