VIDEO REVIEW - Mole's Cousin (Series 1, Episode 6)
The 25th of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too! This one is for Episode 6 from Series 1, 'Mole's Cousin' (originally transmitted 1st June 1984). We are bang in the middle of Summer 2019 at the moment, although this episode is unusual in that it isn't season-specific. This was released on the 'Mole's Cousin' VHS release, along with the other two episodes featuring Auberon Mole. It is a classic, and a particular favourite of Rosemary Anne Sisson's. As a special treat, the entire script to this episode can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences. The lyrics to the two songs are also included.
Reviews of the series continues on Sunday 21st July 2019, with 'Caught in a Maze' (Episode 5 from Series 3).
All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) are being reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
