VIDEO REVIEW - The Labyrinth (Series 2, Episode 7)

The 33rd of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too, including archival photos of existing costumes and props and original drawings! This one is for Episode 7 from Series 2, 'The Labyrinth' (originally transmitted in the UK on 11th February 1986). This was also originally released on the 'Labyrinth and other Stories' video in 1992. We are now officially at the end of summer 2019, and this one feels like a transition from summer into autumn. The entire script to this episode can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences, including some deleted dialogue between Mole and Toad.

Reviews of the series continues as we head into autumn, on Sunday 1st September 2019, with 'Badger's Remedy' (Episode 7 from Series 3).

All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) are being reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
