The 36th of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too! This one is the seventh 'bonus' review, and is for Episode 7 from Series 5 (or the spin-off series, 'Oh! Mr Toad!'), 'Hip-Hip Soirée!' (originally transmitted 8th May 1990). This was never released on home video until the DVD box set was brought out in 2008. As a special treat, the entire script can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences - along with some additional deleted material, at the end of the video.
Reviews of the series continues on Sunday 15th September 2019, with 'Harvest' (Episode 8 from Series 2), and the next 'bonus' episode, 'Piano-Roll Toad', will be reviewed on Sunday 6th October 2019.
All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) are being reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
