VIDEO REVIEW - Bankruptcy (Series 2, Episode 4)
The 42nd of my video reviews dedicated to the making of Cosgrove Hall's film and series of 'The Wind in the Willows', featuring 'picture in picture' and the odd 'behind the scenes' image too, including archival photos of existing costumes and props and original drawings! This one is for Episode 4 from Series 2, 'Bankruptcy' (originally transmitted in the UK on 21st January 1986). It was released on the 'Labyrinth and Other Stories' video back in 1992, and eventually on DVD.
We are continuing to progress through Autumn 2019, and so this one feels very apt! The entire script can be read on-screen as you watch, so look out for any differences, including alternative lyrics for a deleted song - which eventually became 'When I'm a Millionaire', available now on CD and iTunes.
Apologies for the slight lateness with this review - just a bit of a timing/juggling issue! :)
Reviews of the series continues as we head further into the thick of autumn, on Sunday 20th October 2019, with 'The Weasels' Trap' (Episode 10 from Series 1).
All 52 episodes have been sorted into a special 'seasonal' order. The remaining 13 'bonus' episodes (Series 5/the 'Oh! Mr Toad!' spin-off episodes) are being reviewed, one by one, as 'additions' every 4 weeks. Comments very welcome. :)
